Part I

1-Create VMWare Workstation

Go to File Opt. Select New Virtual Machine

Custom (adv. Set)

Virtual Hardware Compatibility

You Can Rename Virtual Machine name and Location with new folder

Specify number of processor according to your Level of Database

1.       One Processor

2.       One Core Exists 25 users

Custom Vmware Machine is ready for Linux Installation. CPU, RAM, Hardwar and Software Location have been allocated.

Part II

2) Linux Installation (RHEL) in Vmware Workstation

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

/u01 is an oracle standard Mount Poist ,its recommended by oracle, Its required while we install oracle rdbms for customers.

 

 

 

Root Password must be of 6 Character either will cause error e.g Oracle

 

 

Linux Installation is proceding

 

 

 

 

 

 

Insert Ip address and domain name into putty to connect with linux remotely

Login as : root Password:****** Successfully connected.

Open windows text file insert Ip address and Domain name of Database with alias.

 

Go to CMD ping Ip address e.g: 10.10.10.50  or tatapak.com

Goto VMWare and open VM click on cancel VM Tools installation to exit linux os.iso backup for the purpose of reinsert oracle (REHL) backup

E:\DATABASE Course\ORACLE DATA\rhel-server-5.7-x86_64-dvd.iso

Oracle (REHL) backup  rhel-server-5.7-x86_64-dvd.iso insertion failed

[root@tatapak ~]# init 0

(Or)

[root@tatapak ~]# shutdown -h now

The system is going down for system halt NOW!
